How it works

//01

Book your session

Timing is key, especially when you’re pregnant. Our recommendation is to meet us around week 30 to week 35 in your pregnancy and to book in your second trimester to make sure you secured your preferred date; let’s create your very own artwork!

//02

We meet for your session

During your appointment you will meet Amelia, Georgina or Nicola who will show you examples of sculptures and materials. We help guiding you into the right pose to capture you beautifully, a wonderful experience where you can see your (pregnant) body in a way you haven’t seen before: in 3D.

//03

We create your sculpture

When you are happy with your pose, we will start working on your bespoke artwork in bronze, copper or a beautiful colour and give it all the aftercare it needs. Once it is finished, your sculpture will be delivered to your home, ready to be cherished forever.

What other women said

ā€œI forgot what I looked like pregnant”

ā€œAfter the birth of my first child I completely forgot what I looked like pregnant, the main focus was on my new family and if I thought about myself it was about my recovery, a word what actually gives a negative taste to pregnancy. It’s a shame that we don’t appreciate this special moment of your body growing your child. We took photos but they are in a photo album and we don’t look into that regularly. I love that this sculpture is subtle and reminds me of this special time togetherā€

ā€œOne day my son will be old enough to feel the statue and understand that this was him inside of me.”

ā€œI got myself 3D scanned when I was 40 weeks and 2 days pregnant with my first baby. It was intended as a Father’s Day present but the statue really was a family present. One day my son will be old enough to feel the statue and understand that this was him inside of me. Equally, while I didn’t appreciate my body during pregnancy, I do now and I am very grateful that I can now look at it with a different perspective and admiration of what the female body is capable of.ā€

ā€œI would love to see how my body changes over time”

ā€œI’m happy with the way I look but also realise that my body will change within a couple of years once I start a family. That is why I want to have a sculpture of me now. I want to look back later at a beautiful sculpture that represents this time in my life. The time where I’m young and fit. I already know that I want to come back to you in a couple of years for a next sculpture so I can see the changes to myself. That’s the beauty of life and I want to embrace that. Maybe I’ll be even pregnant by then!ā€

Created by a mother who wanted to remember every part of her pregnancy

Charlotte is the founder of Milestonable. She started Milestonable in spring 2022 when she was very pregnant herself. After multiple cycles of IVF she wanted to celebrate every single inch of her pregnancy, including creating a lovely memory. A memory to be proud of. And that is when the first steps were made towards Milestonable.

She also knows first hand how fast your body can change: in two years time she went from running multiple marathons a year to being bed bound recovering from a brain haemorrhage to fertility treatment to being pregnant. It was physically quite a rollercoaster and this changed her body heavily. Instead of thinking in ā€˜what if’ situations, she decided to appreciate what her body has done for her, celebrate the experience and focus on the positives.

She really hopes to help other women celebrate their physical journey by showing their bodies as a piece of art. To remember to be proud.
