When we welcomed Lottie Drynan to create her bespoke pregnancy sculpture, she had a particularly special request. Having missed the opportunity to capture her first pregnancy, Lottie wanted to find a way to include her eldest daughter, Pennie, in her sculpture celebrating her second pregnancy.

Together, we came up with a beautiful idea: incorporating Penny’s little hands resting gently against her mum’s legs. This meant Lottie could capture not only her growing bump but also a little piece of her first pregnancy journey, bringing both of her children together in one incredibly personal piece of artwork.

Having previously shared why she wanted to create a pregnancy sculpture, it was wonderful to see Lottie’s vision come to life. The finished sculpture is a beautiful reminder of this special chapter of motherhood, made even more meaningful by Penny’s involvement.
